Join us in celebrating the Colts' 60th anniversary with several events planned this Summer in Dubuque! The corps was founded as the Junior Dukes by American Legion Post #6 in 1963. While the instruments, uniforms and tour have little resemblence to those earliest days, it’s amazing how the life lessons remain strikingly similar. Lessons of personal accountability and commitment to common cause drive today’s Colts just as they did back in the ’60s and ’70s.

History Night BBQ - May 28, Macomb, IL

We had such a great time last year at Monmouth College with a series of alumni presenters from throughout Colts history. The night is geared toward our 2023 members, but all alumni are invited and welcome to attend.(BBQ dinner is for corps members and staff only.)

Celebration In Brass - July 12, Northview Middle School, Ankeny, IA

Look for our alumni tent to serve as a central gathering place to meet old friends. The show features four 2022 DCI Finalists in competition along with the Colt Cadets. Click here for more show information.

Alumni Corps Rehearsal - July 13, Eagle Point Park, Dubuque, IA

Brass, percussion and color guard will be represented in the 60th Anniversary Colts Alumni Corps. Plans are to learn about 6-8 minutes of music and perform at Music On The March. Instruments and guard equipment will be provided but if you have a brass instrument you can bring, it would be appreciated. 60th Reunion Gathering - July 13, Eagle Point Park, Dubuque, IA

Get together with fellow marching members and staff from every era of the Colts from 4:00 to 8:00 PM on July 13! Refreshments are BYOB and grilled sandwiches will be available for purchase. Registration for the gathering will include a 60th anniversary shirt with every 10 years having a different color. Wear your shirt to Music On The March for our full alumni group picture at the end of the night. This shirt will also be the uniform top for the alumni corps. Let us know you're coming by registering.

Alumni Tailgate - July 14, St. Anthony's Parking Lot, Dubuque, IA

Due to construction in the main parking lot, the Alumni Tailgate is moving to the smaller parking lot located between the offices and the church. Please bring your own refreshments. We will have a couple port-o-pots available. Tentative plans are to gather at 4:00 PM and head over to the stadium around 6:30 PM.

Music On The March - July 14, Dalzell Field, Dubuque, IA

The HOME SHOW is where it’s at! Get tickets online HERE. The Colts Alumni Corps will play the national anthem, perform 3-4 songs from throughout Colts history, and join the 2023 Colts in the corps song, “Morning,” following the Colts encore performance at the end of the evening. The Colts Hall of Fame Class of 2023 will be introduced at intermission. All alumni will gather for a 60th anniversary photo to close out the night!

Brass Impact - July 17, Olathe Northwest High School, Olathe, KS

The Colts have seen a lot of members through the years from the Kansas City area. Last year’s show was packed following a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic. Look for our alumni tent to serve as a central gathering place to meet old friends. Click here for more show information

DCI Championships - August 10-12, Indianapolis, IN

The Colts will be housed at the Indianapolis Marriott East and will be rehearsing throughout the week at the Indianapolis World Sports Park. There are a variety of hotels in the area (about 15 minutes from Lucas Oil Stadium). We also have a block of rooms at the Courtyard By Marriott - Indianapolis Downtown.
