Colts Youth Organization Seeks Board of Directors Applicants

The Colts Youth Organization currently seeks applications for open Director positions on the Colts Corporation Board of Directors. Applicants will be considered for nomination to the Board at the organization's Annual Meeting in December 2026.
The Corporation Board of Directors has fiduciary responsibility for the organization, governing through policy development, planning, and oversight. Directors participate in committee and other assignments and actively support the Colts Youth Organization and its programs and events.
Responsibilities
- Attend approximately 11 remote meetings per year.
- Serve on at least one committee. Opportunities include:
- Development Committee
- Financial Committee
- Governance Committee
- Marketing & Communication Committee
- New Board Orientation Committee
- Nominating Committee
- Personnel Committee
- Strategic Technology Committee
- Attend events operated by the Colts as appropriate.
Requirements
- Adherence to the Colts Youth Organization Volunteer Code of Conduct.
- Free of disqualifying conflicts of interest.
- Submission of a required background check.
- At least 21 years of age.
Desired Qualifications
- Relevant governance, management, business, legal, development, education, or performing arts experience.
- Knowledge of the drum and bugle corps activity, pageantry arts, or the performing arts.
- Passion for youth programs.
