Dubuque Show UPDATE

After thorough consultation with the Drum Corps International event staff and weather professionals, and in coordination with the corps managers from all the competing units, it is with regret that we must cancel Music On The March scheduled to take place at Dalzell Field in Dubuque this evening. This is our "home show" and the members of the Colts and Colt Cadets were beyond excited to share their summer programs with you. We're especially sad for our age out class who were excited to leave their legacy in Dubuque.

We understand your disappointment regarding the cancellation of the event. Our team was just as eager to see the performers take the field. It’s always tough when these dedicated corps members don’t get to share their hard work with an audience.

Unfortunately, as an outdoor activity, drum corps events are subject to unpredictable weather. Our shows are closely monitored by a professional team of meteorologists, and in this case, the decision to cancel was made in coordination with DCI's weather experts, event staff, and participating corps leadership. Our top priority is always the safety of our performers, fans, and staff.

Unlike concerts or sporting events that might be postponed or rescheduled, the DCI Summer Tour operates on a tight schedule, with corps traveling to a new city almost every day. This makes it logistically impossible to reschedule a show that is cancelled.

As noted during purchase, tickets are non-refundable. That policy helps ensure that we can meet the commitments required to bring these events to life including venue costs, staffing, and supporting the corps that travel across the country to perform. Every ticket purchase plays a vital role in supporting the overall mission of the activity.

While our website notes that all sales are final and non-refundable, in the event of weather cancellations, we would be happy to treat your ticket purchase as a charitable donation to our 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. If you choose this option, we can provide a donation acknowledgment for your records. Please contact us at tickets@colts.org to request a year-end tax letter.
