Colts Summer Band Concert

The Colts Summer Band will conclude their summer lesson series with a concert in the Dubuque Senior High School auditorium on Friday, June 28 at 7:00 PM. The concert was originally planned for the Alliant Energy Amphitheater but the forecast calls for rain and we want to be sure the event is not cancelled.

Directors of the Summer Band are Staci Amosson, David Thom and Dan Norman. The four-week program includes ensemble rehearsals and sectional lessons. Read more about the Summer Band HERE.

The Colts Summer Band will be joined by the Colt Cadets Drum & Bugle Corps. The Colt Cadets begin their competitive season Saturday night in Middleton, Wisconsin. Their 2024 program is titled, The Woods, and features unique arrangements of Prokofiev's "Peter and the Wolf," an enchanting ballad from Sondheim's hit musical, Into the Woods, and Jay Kennedy's wind band masterpiece, "The Path Between the Mountains."
