Colts And Colt Cadets Finals Week Housing

The Colts are back in an Indiana high school for DCI World Championships housing. Following a few years in Indianapolis hotels, Drum Corps International has assigned the Colts housing at Pendleton Heights High School in Pendleton, Indiana. This will be the location of the Colts closing wrap up and dismissal on Sunday, August 9.

For parents or alumni looking to secure a hotel in the area, there appears to be a nice collection of options just west of Pendleton in Noblesville, Indiana.

Colt Cadets are in the familiar surroundings of the Indianapolis World Sports Park where they have been the past few seasons. Colt Cadets will compete in the DCI World Championship Prelims on Thursday morning, and then dismiss for the season following their appearance in Drumline Battle on Saturday morning in Indianapolis. Students can depart with their parents following dismissal on Saturday or remain with the corps to attend DCI Finals on Saturday night.

The Colt Cadets convoy will join the Colts and return to Dubuque on Sunday morning with stops along way in Peoria, Illinois, and Davenport, Iowa.

Colts End Of Season Planning

The Colts member dismissal will be at 11:30 AM Sunday, August 9. Following DCI Finals on Saturday, August 8, the corps will return to their host school. Equipment check-in will happen Saturday night in the lot. On Sunday, from 9:30–11:30 AM, Colts will have a season wrap up ceremony and awards event. Parents are welcome to attend!

Students will be able to leave with their families following the wrap up event from the school. Students may also return on the bus to Dubuque with the corps, and there will be stops en route home in Peoria, Illinois, and Davenport, Iowa.

For those flying home after the season, please purchase a plane ticket home no earlier than 2:15 PM on Sunday, August 9, from the Indianapolis Airport (IND). We will run a bus from the school to the Indianapolis Airport after our closing ceremony.
