The 2025 Colts Present In Restless Dreams

Lucid dreams are often described as a realm of limitless possibilities, where the dreamer’s awareness and control over their dreamscape create a sense of wonder and freedom.

The Colts’ 2025 production, In Restless Dreams, can be viewed as a gateway to explore these inner landscapes. A journey that encourages you to explore not only the story in front of you, but what is waiting at the edge of your subconscious. Join us on this bridge between the worlds of waking and sleeping where fragments of imagery and song offer a glimpse of our interconnected consciousness.

“Our design team has put together an amazing show for both our members to perform and fans to enjoy,” said Colts Director Vicki MacFarlane. “The production has depth but can also simply be enjoyed for its colorful soundtrack and imagery.”

The show features the music of Paul Simon (“Sound of Silence” inspired by Cody Fry), Jack Stratton (“Assassin” inspired by Cory Wong), John McLaughlin (“5 Peace Band”), Eric Whittacre (“Sleep”), and Andy Akiho (“No One to Know One”).

From Program Coordinator Don Click, “Our goal in putting this program together was to stay true to the identity the Colts have established the last few years, but push the intellectual elements more while still maintaining the great music the Colts have become known for.”

The Colts begin their national tour with a performance this Saturday at Drums Along The Rockies in Fort Collins, Colorado. The show will be available online on FloMarching. You can see the show live at one of our three hosted events coming soon. We return to Ankeny, Iowa, for Celebration In Brass on Wednesday, July 9. Two days later, we host our home show in Dubuque — Music On The March — on Friday, July 11, and we’ll complete Home Shows Week in Olathe, Kansas, on Tuesday, July 15, at Brass Impact.
